Coach Pau: 'We will be patient with Quang Hai'

- Pau FC has passed nearly a month to prepare for the new season, and what lessons have you learned?

- The preparation process is convenient. The important thing for the whole team is a psychological state, and this time it is fine. Like other teams, we have to stuff physically. But the intensity and quality of the training sessions are still very good. The players are meeting the plan that I have prepared for the new season, especially in the ability to defend. The friendly matches are also positive, because we find the weaknesses to overcome.

- Have you shaped the most suitable frame for the next season, when you welcomed many summer rookies 2022?

- This stage is too difficult to determine the best squad. We have played three friendly matches, but the season has not started so the squad has no competition. We do not have many options in positions. There are a little later military association, so they have to practice more. There are also players facing injuries. We are probably about to choose the best frame in the friendly match against Niort on July 23. But the main kick before Niort was not guaranteed to come from the beginning in the first round of Ligue 2 to meet Guingamp.

- Which players are injured?

- Striker Henri Saiivet has a mild pain. The Walid Jarmouni striker had a knee problem, so he had few friendly stones. Striker MonsouaaMina also pain in the feet, but the problem is not serious. - Is there any player you target but can't recruit?

- Yes. We have to recruit players within the team budget. If the team can spend more money, I will surely make other decisions. But at this time the team in the transition process. We want to give the second chance to the old players, and have recruited rookies to replace the pillars. Most of them help me feel satisfied.

- Left-back Kenji-Van Boto did not stay Pau after a good play season when Auxerre lent. Can Abzi replace that position?

Ligue 2 is not the same as the tournament in Vietnam, and he will also have many complicated problems when going to Europe. But no matter what, he is enough to create mutations in a match, and create situations that can lead to goals.

- What is the next plan of Pau FC on the transfer market?

- We certainly lack two attacking players, namely two wingers with power. I want that player to have the speed to take advantage of the space behind the opponent. If there is a player who meets that criterion, I will recruit immediately. But we do not buy players to make the squad thick. We have a good squad, have gathered together early and do well the task. The next rookie of Pau must really raise the team.

- What will the members of Pau FC compared to the previous season?

- We had to cut personnel. Perhaps Pau FC has the least one in Ligue 2. But the current personnel are capable and hard -working. If they do a good job, there's no reason to change.

- He used to play for Bordeaux. So why did you judge when the old team was transferred from Ligue 1 to the third class?

- On the one hand, I feel sad for this team. On the other hand, I was a bit angry because Pau FC was trying to stay in Ligue 2 with a budget of only 8 million to 8.5 million euros. The situation is easier for Bordeaux when they are so defended but still get a good player. There must be fairness here. I understand the status of the teams is only spent within the allowed limits.
