The Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, VTVcab Cup 2023, will officially start in 2 weeks. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will be named Sport Center I and will be the only representative of the host country to attend this tournament.
As coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet shared, in the tournament held on Vinh Phuc land, the Vietnamese women's team, although not focusing on achievements, will try to reach the top 4. This is also an opportunity for the players to compete. show their own capacity through which the coaching staff will have the most accurate and specific view to select 14 excellent names who will come to Cambodia to attend the 32nd SEA Games.
However, the question is that with 17 existing names, while AVC Club can only register 14 athletes, who will coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet choose? Which 3 names were eliminated? And how will the removal of these 3 athletes affect the final decision of the team at the 32nd SEA Games?
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet explained: "The Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship is like a final test of the women's team. During the training period, there are athletes who are on the list of the BHL, most likely will not participate in this tournament.
This is like a competition of athletes in attack, libero or auxiliary positions. Then the BHL will screen and finalize this tournament with the most optimal squad to enter the 32nd SEA Games. We should not be too surprised if the outstanding and stable members do not compete. this tournament".

So with 17 athletes in hand, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet closed the list of 14 names to attend AVC Club 2023, 3 names who did not attend are considered to have a chance to attend the 32nd SEA Games and these could be the stars with irreplaceable position in the team. However, with the goal of top 4, as well as the media effect of the NHM team, we hope that names like Thanh Thuy, Bich Tuyen or Kieu Trinh still have the opportunity to attend AVC Club 2023.
