Ha Tinh Watching captain Nguyen Van Quyet score and assist in the draw with Ha Tinh in the V-League 2023 after an eight-match suspension, coach coach Bozidar Bandovic feels happy.

Van Quyet has not played for Hanoi FC since the 8th round of the V-League 2023 because of an eight-match suspension after colliding with the referee. Since then, Hanoi has struggled: won three, drew two, lost two. The guest match at Ha Tinh Stadium in the second round of the championship race in phase II yesterday was the first time that the 2022 Vietnam Golden Ball returned to the main Hanoi squad. "Van Quyet is the captain, the leader of the team," Coach Bandovic said after the match at Ha Tinh Stadium. "He has been out for three months, so he needs more time to find his form to contribute more to Hanoi."

In the previous rounds, especially when the home team faced difficulties, the Serbian coach once shared that he missed Van Quyet.

In this match, Van Quyet contributed to the two goals of defending champion Hanoi. In the 3rd minute, the captain of Hanoi took a corner to the left, creating an opportunity for midfielder Marco Silva to head high to open the scoring. In the 34th minute, Van Quyet controlled skillfully after the goal of goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong, tricked through Ha Tinh's defenders and then bounced the vertical post in, raising the score to 2-1 for the visitors.

In the situation of Van Quyet's goal, some defensive players hesitated, thinking that the ball had touched the Hanoi captain's hand, so they did not tackle aggressively, but referee Tran Ngoc Nho still allowed the match to continue. But the away team could not defend the result. Ha Tinh then rose up, setting the score to draw 2-2 right in the first half.

"I'm very happy, it's a beautiful goal," coach Bandovic said of Van Quyet's goal. However, the leader of Sebia was not satisfied with the result of the match and wanted to win because the home team had two leads. "We conceded two goals that should have limited it. This match the two sides are very strong, the players don't have the patience to play in the right position like in other matches," he added.

In addition to the assist phase and goal in the first half, Van Quyet and the players on the away team's attack almost disappeared in the second half, unable to create mutant situations. This match, the captain of Hanoi also made a number of direct free kicks outside the penalty area, but all were unsuccessful.

Being held to a 2-2 draw, Hanoi was led by CAHN to widen the gap to two points. In the third round of phase II, Hanoi meets Nam Dinh on the yard of Day restaurant.
