Chelsea owner negotiates to buy Neymar
Boehly met and discussed with Al Khelaifi as well as coach Luis Enrique in Paris. According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Boehly met with the president of PSG to ask about Neymar's future, after Chelsea could not buy another star like Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer of 2022. The American billionaire has not given up his intention to bring in a famous player and Neymar is is the most likely target.
Neymar's contract with PSG is valid until the summer of 2025, but recently there have been rumors that the French club no longer wants to keep him. The 31-year-old striker has scored 17 goals and assisted 16 times in 28 matches this season for PSG, but the relationship between him and his teammates tends to deteriorate. Neymar was angry with young players or Director Luis Campos, after PSG lost 1-3 at Monaco on February 11.
Neymar joined PSG in the summer of 2017 for a world record transfer fee of 222 million euros ($237 million), but has yet to win any more European titles. According to CIES statistics, Neymar is currently valued at $ 60 million, while Transfermarkt believes that the Brazilian star is worth $ 80 million. After 172 games for PSG, Neymar has scored 117 goals, won 12 titles but no Champions League. The only Champions League title in his career was in 2015 with Barca.
