Chelsea have bought Sterling.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano used the familiar phrase "so far" to announce the deal. Chelsea's new owner Todd Boly negotiated directly and accepted a down payment of $54 million, with an additional $12 million based on performance.
Since the beginning of June, Sterling has informed Man City to leave and look for a challenge at the new club. Chelsea then came in and emphasized that the British striker played a key role in the great attack next season. Through a few times talking to coach Thomas Tuchel, Sterling agreed to Stamford Bridge.

Sterling's contract with Chelsea is valid until 2027, with the option of extending it for one year. The 27-year-old forward is set to earn a higher salary than the $360,000 a week he earned at Manchester City last season, according to British newspaper the Athletic. As a result, Sterling will become one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.
Sterling is expected to have medical examination in London next week, when most Chelsea's squads have moved to the US to prepare for the pre -season trip. Here, Tuchel teachers will meet America on July 17, Charlotte on July 21 and Arsenal on July 23.
Sterling joined City from Liverpool in 2015 for $52.5 million and a $6 million surcharge. In seven years, the England striker has scored 91 goals in 225 games, winning four Premier League matches, one FA Cup, four League Cups, one English Super Cup and runner-up in the 2021 Champions League.
Coach Pep Guardiola did not want to keep players who did not feel happy at the club, although they joined the opponent in the Premier League. Besides Sterling, Chelsea also negotiated Nathan Ake from Man City. According to Fabrizio Romano, "The Blues" has reached a personal agreement with the Dutch defender, but still needs to claim the transfer fee with Man City - the club wants to earn at least 48 million USD.
Before that, the British D.A.'s also sent Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal in a five-million dollars sale. In the other way, Man City has recruited Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, and will be in the third-hand event for a fan outside Etihad today 10/7/7.
