Today 4/8 volleyball tournament SEA V.League 2023 women's content will officially start in Vinh Phuc. The Vietnamese team still retains 14 athletes who have just participated in the AVC Challenge Cup as well as the FIVB Challenger Cup.

Previously, BHL shared that there would be many personnel changes in August, but because the first stage of SEA V.League took place almost immediately after the team returned from France, moreover being able to play at home. causing BHL to keep the same squad to play in Vinh Phuc.

However, entering stage 2 in Thailand, the training team will have more or less adjustments in terms of force, the most notable of which is the case of Tran Thi Thanh Thuy. According to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, the coaching board decided to let the female captain wear the number 3 shirt to rest and not attend the 2nd stage of SEA V.League.

This is an understandable and reasonable decision of the team. In fact, Vietnamese women's volleyball will participate in many tournaments in the near future, the allocation of athlete resources is essential to avoid overloading the players leading to injury.

The coaching board will make appropriate adjustments for the team at the 2 stages of SEA V.League as well as the VTV Cup, keeping important athletes like Thanh Thuy healthy, thereby having the best preparation for the Asian Championships. took place in early September in Thailand.
