Cambodia proposed 40 exam subjects at SEA Games 32

Cambodia will host the 32nd SEA Games Leaders' Meeting in Phnom Penh from July 11 to July 13. Here, the host country announced the proposal to compete in 40 disciplines and disciplines at the Southeast Asian Games in 2023. Among these, 15 sports that were competed at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam were eliminated, including many Olympic sports such as shooting, archery, boat racing ...
The owner explained that they abandoned these subjects because there was no athletes as well as facilities that meet the organization requirements. According to Deputy Director General of the General Department of Physical Training and Sports Tran Duc Phan, these are strong subjects of Vietnam, so the organization will greatly affect the number of gold medals of the delegation.
Besides football, track and field, swimming, badminton, Taekwondo and other basic sports. Cambodia has also included some strange sports, such as Khmer Kungfu, which is thought to be similar to Muay Thai or Teqball (playing table tennis with football) …
The list of sports held at the 32nd SEA Games may still change. In the coming time, the countries will continue to mobilize and negotiate with the host Cambodia to bring some more sports into the competition.
Vietnam topped the 31 SEA Games with 205 gold medals, more than 113 sheets compared to the second delegation of Thailand. However, Mr. Tran Duc Phan said the goal of the delegation at the 32nd SEA Games is just in the top 3.
The 32nd Southeast Asian Games is scheduled to be held in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kampot and Baima provinces from May 5 to May 17, 2023.
