If standing alone, names like Huynh Thai Loc, Le Hoang Gia, Truong Hong Huu, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Doan Thi Hien, ... are holding the top position in the age group category. Huynh Thai Loc - Chairman of BDRC said that the complete lineup consists of experienced runners with good achievements, with HM sub1:20, FM sub3:05. Mr. Loc is very confident in the chances of winning the prize of the brothers who have been together for many years. In addition, the team category at VM Hanoi Midnight was unprecedented, leaving everyone in a state of readiness. They practiced tirelessly with the goal of competing with the remaining 35 teams and bringing victory to the only representative of the Southeast region.

Currently, 14 male runners are in stable form, but 6 female runners still have to improve if they want to compete with other groups. Another difficulty is that many runners participate in night running for the first time, so they may be at a slight disadvantage when they have to change their circadian rhythms. Cold weather in Hanoi can also affect the plan laid out. In the short term, BDRC still maintains a training regimen, gradually reducing the intensity to avoid injury and disturbance. The team also tries to personalize the exercise to promote each person's strengths.

Not only achievements, another factor that determines the squad is that members must have high teamwork. Huynh Thai Loc said that the team category will be a fierce and unpredictable competition. Even though they possess the same force, it is difficult to predict in advance whether the group will win the award. "More importantly, the members must support, accompany each other and be determined not to give up. As long as one person has a problem, the whole team's effort is considered abandoned," Mr. Loc affirmed.

20 days before the start of MetaSports Marathon Hanoi Midnight, Binh Duong Running Club has basically completed the training plan. The image of blue-shirted runners running into a train became familiar on the route around the three cities of Thuan An, Di An and Thu Dau Mot. The intensity decreased, but the training atmosphere was very exciting. Each training session is a different place to create excitement. On weekends, they run together in the new city of Binh Duong or organize their own internal tournaments.

BDRC is one of two representatives of the southern region, next to Ultrain (HCMC). Mr. Loc considers "neighbor" as one of the teams that can create a challenge because the quality of the squad is not inferior. The groups running in the North, especially in Hanoi, with the familiarity of the road, the weather, and the careful preparation also help the race become more unpredictable. "In my head, I have 5 to 6 names that can be crowned like Ha Tinh Runners, Ho Lon Team, Ultrain, Hoa Binh Park Runner,... Whoever wins I think deserves it," the BDRC chairman assessed.

MetaSports Marathon Hanoi Midnight 2022 is the second time that individual runner Huynh Thai Loc has participated. Running at night in the Capital with him is a unique, strange and unforgettable experience. Up to now, Binh Duong's runners are still attached to the feeling of running through the old streets in the cold winter. Many times he went to Hanoi to attend the awards, but striding in the middle of the night is still the most memorable memory.

"The pace of life in Hanoi appears different. I love the corners of the old town in the dark and want to enjoy it again", the runner confided. "Personally, my goal is HM sub1:20 and strive to break my personal record of 1 hour 18 minutes".

Three weeks before the competition day, the runners of Binh Duong also planned to visit the capital city. Many of these people have been to Hanoi many times but said there are still many places to visit. Ha Thanh cuisine is also unique, especially draft beer. Regardless of the achievements, the group still wants to make the time here memorable and enjoy as much as possible.

Team competition is a new feature at the MetaSports Marathon Hanoi Midnight 2022. 36 clubs and running teams across the country will compete on November 26.
