Big win against Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers move closer to postseason
As the race for play-in tickets and Playoffs becomes more intense than ever, every win at this point is extremely important to the teams in the competitive group.
As for the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans, two teams that are directly head-to-head in this race, victory will be worth twice as much as a good result against other teams.
It seemed that this would be an attractive competition when the Pelicans both had the home field advantage and welcomed the return of the scoring star Brandon Ingram, but the Lakers won overwhelmingly.

New Orleans revived in the third half and brought the gap down to 15 points, but this was also the last effort that the Pelicans made in this match.
The match ended with the final victory of 123-108 belonging to the Los Angeles Lakers, the team improved their achievement to 34-35 to temporarily take 10th place on the table.
Currently, the Lakers are having the same number of wins - losses with the two top teams, the Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City Thunder (34-35) but inferior in head-to-head stats.

Given the important nature of the game, the Lakers had the timely shine of many different individuals. Anthony Davis led the team with 35 points and 17 rebounds. Malik Beasley is right behind with 24 points, 3 assists, 2 steals and 7 successful 3-pointers.
