Bayern suspend play against Mane
Bayern explained that the reason for Mane's suspension was because of "bad behavior after the match against Bayern", without specifying what the Senegal striker did. They also further announced that Mane will be fined for breaking team discipline.

According to the German newspaper Bild, the story originated from the situation in the 83rd minute when Bayern were a guest at Man City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on the evening of April 11. Mane ran in the open but Sane passed the error, causing them to quarrel on the field. In the dressing room after Bayern lost 0-3, these two players continued to argue. Suddenly Mane punched Sane in the face causing the German player's lips to bleed. Teammates quickly intervened to avoid scuffles. After the team flew back to Munich, Mane left in a private car, and Sane took the bus with the team.
On the morning of April 13, Bayern leaders met with Sane and Mane, before the training session of coach Thomas Tuchel. The two players later apologized to their teammates for the incident, and still practiced together.
German media claim that Mane's future at Bayern is over, and he could be sold as soon as in the summer of 2023.
Mane left Liverpool for Bayern in the summer of 2022, having scored 11 goals and assisted five times in 31 games this season. In the last 10 matches, the 31-year-old striker has mostly been on the bench waiting for a substitution, not scoring any goals and providing only one assist.
And Sane arrived at Bayern from Man City in 2020, taking the main kick. He has scored 13 goals and assisted six times in 35 games this season. In the last 10 matches, the 27-year-old midfielder started six matches, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
After the match against Hoffenheim, Bayern will take on Man City at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. In the first leg, Mane came on in the 69th minute to replace Jamal Musiala but did not make an impression.
