Aquaman Vietnam 2023 held in Phan Thiet in October
Aquaman Vietnam season 2 has an expected scale of 1,500 athletes. The organizing committee is coordinating with the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province to plan implementation to ensure the best competition conditions. The tournament organization area is located at Novaworld Phan Thiet (in Tien Hoa village, Tien Thanh commune). The registration portal will open on September 5, here.
Like last year, Aquaman Vietnam has four competition distances. Aquakid is for children 6 to 10 years old (swim 200m and run 1km). Sprint Aqua (500m swim, 5km run). Half Aqua (1km swim, 10km run). The longest distance is Aquaman (2km swim and 21km run). Aquaman is also the only event that has an individual and relay competition format.
The venue - Phan Thiet - is a city with a beach with clear blue water and calm waves. On the shore, the running track is located right next to the sea with beautiful scenery, wide and airy roads, an ideal place for runners to stride and conquer the race.
Athletes also easily move from many directions to here via Dau Giay - Phan Thiet highway, which opened to traffic from the end of April, with a scale of 6 lanes, shortening the travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to only 2.5 hours, replacing because 6 hours like before. The city's infrastructure in recent years has undergone a drastic transformation, meeting the needs of eating, resting and traveling when there are large numbers of tourists.
At the end of October, Phan Thiet begins the dry season, the weather is beautiful, quite pleasant, cool, the temperature ranges from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius. This is a place visitors can come at any time of the year.
Aquaman Vietnam is the first and only swimming-running duathlon in Vietnam today. In the first season, the tournament took place in Sa Vi - the beginning of the country, Tra Co district, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province, attracting 1,000 athletes to compete. Vu Dinh Duan is the Aquaman Vietnam 2022 champion.
