Antony dances while attending the World Cup 2022
Instead of posting the list like many other teams, Brazil held a press conference in Rio de Janeiro for Coach Tite to read the names of each player for the 2022 World Cup - the tournament that started on November 20.
Many Brazilian players watched the live broadcast of the news conference on the morning of November 7 local time, then shared on social networks the moment they knew they would go to Qatar.

Antony wears a Brazilian shirt, sitting in front of the TV with family members who wear his shirt at Man Utd. After being named by coach Tite, he hugged his loved ones, cheered and danced in a circle to celebrate. The 22-year-old winger made his national team debut in October 2021, and this will be his first World Cup appearance.
Antony moved to Man Utd last summer, and quickly created a positive effect. He even became the first player in Man Utd history to score in his first three Premier League games, against Arsenal, Man City and Everton.
Bruno Guimaraes reacted similarly. The Newcastle midfielder hugged his new-born son, nervously watched the press conference and was delighted when coach Tite read his name.
Richarlison is another Premier League star to share a celebratory moment. The Tottenham striker was so nervous that he lowered his head to his pillow, not daring to look at the screen. When it was sung, he jumped to celebrate with his family.
Brazil's number one star, Neymar, watched the press conference live with his two sons. The PSG striker smiled when coach Tite said Gabriel Jesus' name, surprised to hear Gabriel Martinelli, and appeared calm when he was called.
Alex Telles - defender who is wearing a Sevilla shirt on loan from Man Utd - burst into tears, then hugged and kissed his wife sitting next to him when he was called up.
Pedro also took advantage of the joy of being called to Qatar to propose to his girlfriend. The 25-year-old Flamengo striker was one of the surprises when coach Tite announced the list yesterday. Pedro has only played two matches, scoring one goal for the national team. His impressive performance with Flamengo in the Brazilian league convinced Tite to award the spot.
Brazil's 2022 World Cup list is missing many stars, such as Roberto Firmino (Liverpool), Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), Gabriel Barbosa (Flamengo) or Matheus Cunha (Atletico). Aston Villa midfielder Philippe Coutinho was also not called up because of a thigh injury during training.
At the 2022 World Cup, Brazil is in Group G, playing against Serbia on November 25, Switzerland on November 28 and Cameroon on December 3.
According to the house Oddschecker, Brazil has the highest chance of winning with the odds of 11/2 (put 2 to 11). Following is England 6/1, France 7/1, Spain 9/1, Argentina 10/1, Germany and Belgium with 12/1 and Portugal 14/1.
