Anh Vien's younger brother won against Nguyen Huy Hoang in the swimming event where his senior once set a record at the SEA Games

Nguyen Quang Thuan excellently defeated Nguyen Huy Hoang in the men's 200m butterfly swimming event in which the senior won the gold medal at SEA Games 31 and broke the national record.
