Alves: 'Barca does not care the player makes history'
"The only thing I don't like is how to handle my departure. I want everything to be clear, but I don't have it. In recent years, the club has made a mistake. Having made history for the club, "Dani Alves told the Guardian.

Last season, Alves returned to Barca under a free contract from January to June 2022. Barca only announced not to continue at the end of June, when the season ended a month. If announced earlier, Alves may have made a farewell with fans on the pitch.
A year ago, Barca also treated Lionel Messi. President Joan Laporta waited until the M10 returned after the summer vacation notice without renewing the contract. After that, the greatest player in Barca's history left as an abandoned man.
Alves and Messi are both the gods of Barca. The two have won 26 titles together, including two treirons in 2008-2009 and 2014-2015.
According to Alves, Barcelona underestimated the factors off the pitch. This mentality is in stark contrast to his peak years. Former boss Guardiola and former midfielder Xavi both had well-deserved goodbyes as they left the club in 2012 and 2015. "Barcelona need to improve their work off the pitch. Everything that happens on the pitch is a reflection of what happens outside," Alves affirmed.
Alves is looking for a new club to continue his career at the age of 39. He didn't think he was too old to quit the game. Alves even wants to win a place in the 2022 World Cup with Brazil. "Age has pros and cons. The 20-year-old gets nervous and worried when going into big games, but I don't," Alves said.
