A faction predicts Al Hilal from the Saudi club will be in Paris this week to convince Kylian Mbappe to join.

After the initial offer was not approved, Al Hilal remained patient and serious with Mbappe. According to Mundo Deportivo, from now until the end of the week, a delegation of the Saudi club will be in Paris to meet face-to-face and convince Mbappe and those involved.

Al Hilal plans to pay the 24-year-old striker at least $220 million per season. Mbappe's income could be up to 770 million, depending on commercial agreements. The team that finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season is also ready to put in the contract a clause that allows Mbappe to move to Real in the summer of 2024 on a free transfer.

Regarding the transfer fee, Al Hilal is willing to pay 330 million for PSG. This number will break the record of 264 million that PSG hold after the purchase of Neymar in 2017. The Ligue 1 champions are happy with Al Hilal's offer. President Al Khelaifi has allowed the Saudi Arabian club to contact Mbappe to convince.

But according to Mundo Deportivo, Mbappe still wants to join Real this summer. Mbappe's family may be swayed by Al Hilal's offer, but the 24-year-old striker himself does not want to leave Europe. The top scorer of the 2022 World Cup still needs to play at the top of the 2023-2024 season, to prepare for Euro 2024 and the 2024 Olympics.

Mbappe has a contract with PSG until the end of June 2024. Early last month, he announced that he would not extend his contract until June 2025 as originally planned. PSG are facing two options to sell to recover the transfer fee, or accept to lose it all next year. In 2018, the Ligue 1 champion spent 200 million to buy Mbappe from Monaco.

After Mbappe refused to renew his contract, PSG removed him from the list of Japan tour. Mbappe is training in Paris with the youth team and the first team players are waiting to be liquidated. If he decides to stay until the end of June 2024, the French striker could face the risk of being sidelined for the whole 2023-2024 season. If it happens, this could greatly affect performance at the Euro and Olympic Games.

Real has yet to make a move to buy Mbappe. The Spanish team can wait until the end of the summer transfer window, to test the patience of PSG and buy at a cheaper price. Mbappe has many times almost joined Real. In 2022, before renewing with PSG, the 24-year-old striker seriously considered going to Real on a free transfer.

Mbappe has won six Ligue 1, three French Cups, two League Cups, two French Super Cups, but no Champions League. In 2020, he and PSG lost 0-1 to Bayern in the Champions League final. With France, Mbappe won the 2018 World Cup, the 2021 Nations League and reached the 2022 World Cup final. The 24-year-old striker is the top scorer of the 2022 World Cup and five consecutive Ligue 1 seasons.

Last season, Al Hilal finished third in the Saudi Pro League. The Saudi Arabia club have bought midfielder Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, midfielder Ruben Neves from Wolves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. If there is Mbappe, Al Hilal will be a bright candidate for the 2023-2024 Saudi Pro League championship, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr and Karim Benzema's Al Ittihad.
