Adam Scott missed a hole-in-one at Dell Match Play
Against Burns, Scott was led or held to a draw during the first 10 holes. On the 11th hole par3, when the game was even, Scott shot straight towards the target. But when he got there, the ball hit the flagpole, right across the mouth of the hole. After impact, the ball bounced back onto the green slope near the lake and about 13.7 meters from the hole.
Burns hit three yards from the flag, but needed two strokes like Scott to finish the hole.

To hole 12, both sides are still balanced. The next five holes, Scott was led again and had to remove and hold a draw. On the 18th hole, Scott scored a bogey, and Burns kept par. The Australian golfer therefore lost 1up. Currently, he has 1.5 points, and Burn is 2 points from two victories.
Scott was born in 1980, played professionally since the age of 20. He has been at the top of the world for 11 weeks, holding the 2013 major Masters in 14 titles on the PGA Tour and winning eight times in the European peer-to-peer arena DP World Tour. Burns, 26 years old, American, won four championships on the PGA Tour arena over six years of playing professionally.
Dell Match Play 2023 brings together the world's top 64 to compete for a $20 million prize fund at Austin Country Club, Texas from March 22 to 26.
The tournament divides competitors into 16 groups to compete in a circle to select the 16 highest scoring faces to the knockout round, including semi-finals and finals. According to this process, from the starting line to the finish line there will be seven matches. This year's tournament, defending champion Scheffler won two matches.
Last year, Scottie Scheffler picked up the trophy after defeating Kevin Kisner with a 4 & 3 result.
The hole match ends when the number of ups is greater than the number of holes remaining, represented by the number of ups that came first.
