7,000 runners complete the BaDen Mountain Marathon
This is the second time BaDen Mountain Marathon is held. The tournament attracted 7,000 athletes, conquering 4 distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km.

Thanh Vu - the first Asian female athlete to run through 4 deserts in the world and Trong Nhon are the two ambassadors of this year's tournament. After the opening ceremony on the afternoon of April 22, there was an exchange between two ambassadors and guests. In the early morning of April 23, 7,000 athletes entered the starting line to compete.
Runner competes in the race through famous places such as Holy See, Ma Thien Lanh, Nui Da lake, rubber forest, rice fields. In particular, Ba Den mountain with an altitude of 986 m is the focus of this tournament. This is where BTC sets the starting point and finishing point. Ba Den Mountain is known as a sacred mountain in the South. Ba Pagoda is 300 years old and the tallest statue of Ba Tay Bo Da Son in Asia is located on the top of the mountain.
Participating in the running tournament, athletes can admire and enjoy the beauty of the spiritual complex on the top of the mountain at night. The artistic lighting system is made up of more than 3,500 LED lights, and more than 480 floor lamps creating Buddhist symbols such as the swastika, the lotus flower. "The cool air with the temperature on the mountain top 10 degrees lower than the city also helped us cool off on the track," said the runner.
Held for the first time in 2021, the BaDen Mountain Marathon has become a major sporting event of Tay Ninh province. In 2023, the running race towards honoring and promoting Tay Ninh is reaching out to seize new opportunities after the pandemic.
