2023 World Championship draw results LOL: GAM is in the same group as PSG, TW is facing difficulties

*The draw for the 2023 World Championship warm-up round took place after the LEC 2023 Season Finals between G2 vs Fnatic ended.
The 2023 World Championship will have the participation of 22 teams from regions around the world. The 4 representatives of LCK and LPL, the top 3 seeds of LEC and LCS will go straight to the Swiss Stage (group stage).
Meanwhile, WQS - the winner of the 2023 World Championship qualifying round (match between the 4th seed LEC and the 4th seed LCS), the 2 seeds of VCS, PCS and the champions from Japan, Brazil and the US La Tin will compete from the warm-up round.
- Pool 1: PSG Talon, CTCB Flying Oyster, GAM Esports, WQS.
- Pool 2: Team Whales, DetonatioN FM, Movistar R7, LOUD.
Each group of the warm-up round will include 2 teams from Pool 1 and 2 teams from Pool 2.
In the first round, the team in Pool 1 will meet the team in Pool 2.
2 teams from the same region will not be in the same group.
In the warm-up round 1, 8 teams are divided into 2 groups, competing in a winner's bracket and a loser's bracket. Matches are decided by Bo3. The top 2 teams will move on to round 2.
