The East Asia Cup is divided into three stages: preliminary 1, preliminary 2 and final week. Japan, South Korea and China, as seed teams, directly enter the final week. The remaining final week seats are competed by North Korea, Hong Kong, Taipei, Macao, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and Mongolia. The preliminary round 1, preliminary round 2 and final week are also conducted in the group single cycle situation. In each game, the winner gets 3 points, the loser gets no points, and the two teams get 1 point each in the draw. Finally, rank according to the number of points. If the points are the same, the ranking will be distinguished by the difference between goals and losses and goals
