      The Macedonian First Division is played in a double round-robin scoring system. The point calculation method for a single game is that the winner gets 3 points, the loser gets 0 points, and the draw gets 1 point each. At the end of the season, the ranking is based on the accumulated points. The team with the most points in the league wins the championship and at the same time gets the opportunity to participate in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round next season. The second and third places in the league will participate in the UEFA League next season. The last two teams in the league are directly relegated, and the third and fourth places from the bottom will compete with the third and fourth places in the second division for a relegation play-off to compete for two qualifications for next season's first division.
