      There are 12 teams in the Korean K-League, playing in three rounds of home and away games (the home team in the third round is determined by drawing lots). The first stage is the regular season. The winner of each game gets 3 points, the loser gets no points, and Each team gets 1 point in each round, and the final ranking will be determined by points. If the team has the same score, the ranking will be determined by the number of goals scored. The second stage is divided into two groups: the top 6 in the regular season will directly enter the championship group, and the bottom 6 will enter the relegation group. In the end, the ranking will be determined by the total points. If the points are tied, the ranking will be determined by the goal difference. The first-place team in the championship group directly participates in the AFC Champions League group stage, and the second and third-place teams participate in the AFC Champions League qualifying rounds. The 5th place in the relegation group will play against the 2nd place in the K2 League, and the 4th place will play against the 3rd place in the K2 League (winners of the 3-5 play-offs). The last place in the relegation group will be directly relegated to the K2 League.
      The points for championship play-offs and relegation play-offs are calculated as regular season points + play-off points.
